FabSwingers Cost UK | Free vs Site Supporter Membership

What You Get for Free, Silver and Gold Site Supporter Features and Whether Paying Is Worth It

One of the first questions people ask about FabSwingers is simple: how much does FabSwingers cost?

The answer is slightly different from many adult dating websites.

FabSwingers promotes itself as free to use, not just free to join. Creating an account does not simply give you a restricted profile that becomes practically useless until you enter payment details.

Core areas of FabSwingers can be used without purchasing Site Supporter membership.

There is, however, an optional paid upgrade called Site Supporter, with different supporter levels offering additional features.

That creates an important question for anyone considering the website.

Do you actually need to pay for FabSwingers?

This guide looks at what is free, what paying can add and whether upgrading makes sense for the way you intend to use the site.

Is FabSwingers Free?

Yes. FabSwingers allows people to join and use significant parts of the website without buying a conventional monthly dating subscription.

FabSwingers currently promotes free access to features including:

member searching
private messages
photos
profile browsing
core community features

This is an important difference between FabSwingers and many dating platforms.

Some websites advertise themselves as free because registration costs nothing, but then place messaging or other essential features behind a subscription.

FabSwingers explicitly describes its approach as free to use rather than simply free to join.

There are small advertisements on the free service, which form part of how FabSwingers supports access without requiring every member to pay.

What Is FabSwingers Site Supporter?

Site Supporter is FabSwingers' optional premium membership.

According to FabSwingers, the programme was introduced to fund additional features that involve extra bandwidth, storage, development or administration.

Paying therefore does two things.

It supports the operation of the website and unlocks additional functionality for the member.

This is not the same as paying to unlock the basic ability to use FabSwingers.

You can have a FabSwingers account without becoming a Site Supporter.

Does FabSwingers Have Silver and Gold Membership?

FabSwingers has historically offered Silver and Gold Site Supporter options.

The distinction matters because Gold is not simply another name for having a paid account.

Different supporter levels can provide different allowances and features.

FabSwingers' current chat system, for example, specifically promotes a Gold Site Supporter feature that allows a member to view up to four webcams simultaneously.

Photo allowances and other account features have also differed between free, Silver and Gold accounts.

However, FabSwingers has changed individual allowances and features over time.

For that reason, users should check the live upgrade screen inside their FabSwingers account before paying rather than relying on an old price list, forum post or review.

How Much Does FabSwingers Cost?

This is where online information about FabSwingers can become confusing.

Historic FabSwingers forum discussions reference prices such as £5 payments and different durations for Silver and Gold membership. Members have also discussed longer card-payment packages that work out cheaper per day.

Those discussions are useful for understanding how Fab's supporter system has operated, but they should not automatically be treated as the current 2026 price list.

FabSwingers' public Site Supporter information currently directs logged-in members to its upgrade system for the available packages.

The safest way to see the exact price you would pay today is therefore:

Log in to FabSwingers.
Open the Site Supporter upgrade page.
Choose Silver or Gold where available.
Compare the duration and features offered.
Check the final price before authorising payment.

This is particularly important because the amount paid and the number of supporter days received can vary according to the package and payment method.

Is FabSwingers a Recurring Subscription?

An interesting feature of the FabSwingers payment model is that its supporter system has traditionally operated differently from many automatic-renewal dating subscriptions.

FabSwingers forum guidance from moderators states that Site Supporter payments are not recurring payments across its payment methods.

For example, when paying by premium text, the payment generates an upgrade code rather than establishing an ordinary monthly direct debit.

That is potentially useful for people who dislike dating subscriptions that continue charging until manually cancelled.

However, payment systems can change.

Always read the current payment screen before completing a purchase and check whether the option you are selecting is one-off or recurring.

How Can You Pay for FabSwingers?

FabSwingers currently advertises several methods for upgrading to Site Supporter.

These include:

Text message

A member can upgrade using a premium-rate text service.

FabSwingers says the process is discreet and that the upgrade normally takes only seconds.

Phone call

Telephone payment is another advertised option.

Credit or debit card

FabSwingers also provides card-payment options.

Different payment methods may provide different supporter durations or package values, so it is worth comparing them rather than assuming every £5 or £10 payment provides exactly the same period of membership.

Is Paying by Text Private?

Privacy is understandably important on an adult website.

FabSwingers states in its FAQ that when somebody upgrades through its text system, Fab does not receive their telephone number as part of the normal upgrade process.

It says the user receives the upgrade PIN and that the number is not used for marketing texts.

Fab also says its payment partner does not sell or provide the number to third parties for marketing.

Anyone particularly concerned about billing privacy should still check how premium-rate texts or calls appear on their own mobile network bill before using that payment method.

What Do You Get Without Site Supporter?

The most important point is that FabSwingers does not require Site Supporter membership simply to maintain a profile.

Free users can access much of the core platform.

That includes the functions that many people would consider fundamental to an adult community:

Profiles

You can create a presence on the site and describe yourself and what you are looking for.

Browse and search

FabSwingers provides searchable member profiles rather than limiting discovery entirely to paid accounts.

Photos

Photos form an important part of the site and basic photo functionality is available without purchasing Site Supporter.

Messages

FabSwingers specifically promotes mail as one of its free services.

Community access

The wider FabSwingers environment includes forums, meets, events and club information.

This means somebody can join, learn how the website operates and decide whether it suits them before considering a paid upgrade.

What Extra Features Does Site Supporter Provide?

The exact feature list can evolve, but Site Supporter has historically expanded areas such as:

photo allowances
additional account and profile tools
information about profile activity
message-related functionality
username changes
additional search or browsing tools
chat and webcam functionality
other supporter-only conveniences

Some features may also depend on whether the account has Silver or Gold supporter status.

One example confirmed by FabSwingers' own FAQ is username changes.

Fab states that Site Supporters can request a username change while keeping existing friends and verifications attached to the account.

That is a convenience feature rather than something essential to arranging a meet.

What About Photo Limits?

Photo storage is one area where supporter membership can become useful.

FabSwingers' FAQ explains that ordinary accounts have a basic photo limit, while Site Supporters receive additional upload allowances.

There is an interesting detail here.

Fab states that extra photos added through supporter allowances can remain on the account even after supporter status expires.

Historic discussions on the FabSwingers forums also show that Silver and Gold members have received substantially larger photo allowances.

However, these allowances have changed over time.

Again, check the current upgrade page rather than assuming an old review quoting a specific number of photos remains accurate.

Do You Need Site Supporter for FabSwingers Chat?

This is one of the most important current changes to understand.

Older FabSwingers material says that cams were among the services available free.

However, FabSwingers' current dedicated chat page states that chat and cam are for logged-in Site Supporters.

It tells free users that registration remains free but that they need to become a Site Supporter to use the chat room.

That means somebody specifically joining FabSwingers because they want live chat and webcam interaction should check the current supporter requirements carefully.

This is also a good example of why old FabSwingers reviews can be misleading.

Features change.

What Extra Chat Feature Does Gold Provide?

FabSwingers currently advertises a specific benefit for Gold Site Supporters within its chat system.

Gold users can view up to four webcams at once.

This is sometimes referred to as docking multiple cams.

For somebody who spends significant time in FabSwingers chat rooms, that may make Gold more attractive.

For someone who mainly searches profiles and sends private messages, it could be a feature they rarely use.

The value of Gold therefore depends heavily on how you use FabSwingers.

Is Silver Enough?

For many users, potentially.

Historic discussions within the FabSwingers community show members choosing Silver because they wanted additional features but did not need Gold-specific benefits such as viewing multiple webcams.

That is the more useful way to compare the tiers.

Do not automatically assume that the most expensive option is the best.

Ask which supporter features you will genuinely use.

If Silver provides everything relevant to you, paying more for Gold simply because it is the highest tier may offer little practical benefit.

Does Paying Make Your Profile More Genuine?

No.

Paying for Site Supporter should not be confused with verification.

Someone purchasing an upgrade demonstrates that they have paid for additional FabSwingers features. It does not prove that they are trustworthy, compatible with you or safe to meet.

FabSwingers has separate systems for photo verification and member verification.

Those systems also have limitations and should never be treated as guarantees of personal safety.

Site Supporter status is a membership feature, not a character reference.

Is FabSwingers Site Supporter Worth Paying For?

There is no universal answer.

It depends on which parts of FabSwingers you use.

Site Supporter could make sense if you regularly use the platform and want:

chat and webcam access
larger photo allowances
additional account functionality
supporter-only conveniences
Gold multi-cam viewing
the ability to support the running of the website

It may be less necessary if your main activity is simply browsing profiles and exchanging private messages.

That is one of the strengths of FabSwingers' model.

You can use the free account first and make the decision later.

There is little reason for a brand-new member to pay immediately simply because they assume payment is required to make the website functional.

Free vs Site Supporter: Which Should You Choose?

A simple way to approach the decision is to start with what you actually want from FabSwingers.

If you mainly want to create a profile, browse other members, view basic photos and exchange messages, start free.

If you become a regular user and find yourself wanting supporter-only tools, consider Silver.

If chat and webcam use become an important part of your experience and Gold's additional cam features appeal to you, compare Gold with Silver before upgrading.

Most importantly, look at the current upgrade screen.

FabSwingers has existed for many years, and old forum posts and reviews can remain visible in Google long after particular prices or feature limits have changed.

Be Careful With Old FabSwingers Pricing Information

This deserves highlighting.

Searching Google for FabSwingers prices can produce forum posts and reviews discussing old £5 packages, Silver durations, Gold durations and historical photo allowances.

Some of those pages remain useful background information, but they may be years old.

A price mentioned by a member in an old forum thread is not the same thing as FabSwingers publishing that price today.

For current cost, package duration and included features, the live Site Supporter upgrade screen should always take priority.

Conclusion

FabSwingers has a different payment model from many adult dating websites.

You do not have to purchase a premium subscription simply to create an account and discover whether the community is right for you.

Core functions such as profiles, searching, photos and private messaging form part of FabSwingers' free service.

Site Supporter membership is an optional upgrade that adds further functionality and helps support the operation of the website.

Silver and Gold options provide different levels of additional access, while Gold currently includes the ability to view up to four webcams simultaneously in chat.

The current FabSwingers chat system is particularly important because Fab's dedicated chat page now says chat and cam access is for logged-in Site Supporters.

Before paying, compare the current Silver and Gold options inside FabSwingers rather than relying on old prices found in Google results.

For most newcomers, starting with the free account makes sense. Learn how FabSwingers works, decide which parts of the platform you actually use and only then decide whether Site Supporter features are worth paying for.

In Part 3 of our FabSwingers series, we will look closely at the mobile experience, verification, forums, clubs, meets and events, including how FabSwingers works on iPhone and Android without a conventional downloaded app.
